Selected by the Ohlone Community College District to design and build the first phase of the campus revitalization project, Carducci Associates completed design of both a vehicular and pedestrian approach to the campus, a parking structure for 800 vehicles, and a hilltop vista that features spacious decks for study or social interaction among students and faculty. The District engaged Carducci Associates on the basis of our demonstrated ability to develop creative low maintenance and low water-use landscape solutions. Incorporating native grass and wildflower meadows, our design melds an existing ornamental campus with the expansion project and neighboring hillside nature reserve. The project received the 2013 Community College Facility Coalition’s Professional Design Award.
