The renovation of Mills High School's theater and gymnasium required a redesign of the campus's three courtyards: the cafeteria, art, and main campus areas. Carducci Associates reimagined these spaces to offer complementary environments for a range of activities. The updated courtyards support outdoor dining, instruction, small gatherings, lunchtime study, and outdoor dances. They also feature a large landscaped amphitheater for movie screenings, student theater and musical performances, award presentations, and speaker engagements.
