Lydiksen Elementary’s site design focused on improving outdoor spaces for students' learning and play. Outdoor learning spaces, including reading nooks, a raised amphitheater, a vegetable garden, pollinator gardens, and seating opportunities shaded by newly planted trees, provide students with opportunities to engage. Active recreation is provided by a new natural lawn playing field, hardcourt games, ball walls, and two new playgrounds.
