Carducci Associates provided site design for a new employee well-being center for a confidential life sciences corporate campus. Design features include an entry plaza grove to welcome visitors to the building, two new basketball courts and a synthetic turf lawn for active recreation, a meadow garden, and paths that enhance campus connectivity. The new LEED and WELL certified building includes a gym, mental and physical health consultation spaces, and conference rooms. Landscape is integrated throughout the building with three gestures, including a terrace with planters offering views of the San Francisco Bay, a grand stair with integrated planting, and a large jewel-like courtyard landscaped with trees and ferns. Completed in 2022, this project is a superb amenity to help promote health and wellness for all employees.
