Carducci Associates is partnering with the Presidio of San Francisco to implement one of the park’s largest landscape renewal projects. Working closely with the Presidio Trust’s design and historic compliance teams, Carducci staff is applying ecological horticultural practices to transform existing turf areas into habitats with native plant communities. These ecological zones will blend with more traditional horticultural spaces to create a new paradigm for planting design. This ongoing project will also update existing irrigation systems, enhance the Park’s visual character, and manage stormwater using low-impact strategies that improve infiltration.
