Commissioned by the San Mateo Union High School District, Carducci & Associates, Inc. redesigned the track and field at San Mateo High School. The redesign included sports lighting, a synthetic field for football, soccer, and other related sports, surrounded by an eight-lane, 400-meter all-weather track. These additions and improvements will increase student/player safety, result in fewer injuries, and provide year-round usage for students as well as members of the community. In addition to the students, various soccer leagues, the Tongan National Rugby Team, Pop Warner, the U.S. Army Reserve, and walkers and joggers all use and benefit from the improvements to the track and field.
