Corner-facing sites are considered some of the most important properties in the architectural realm. They're highly visible, vital centers of activity
that tend to direct the development and livelihood of the blocks intersecting them. Redwood City Tech Center allowed
Carducci & Associates, Inc. to maximize the potential of such a resource.
By centering the design around a grand entry that faces
the intersection, Carducci & Associates, Inc. activated the space by focusing the attention of two streets on human scale, useable plaza space.
Bamboo, river rock, and subdued paving patterns allow the human realm to maintain a strong foreground, while preserving an
atmosphere of corporate austerity that suits the site's use.
