Views from the 18th floor roof terrace of the Key Building provide expansive views of the Bay Area. Financial services start-up Credit Karma chose the Key Building in downtown Oakland to draw employees to the new headquarters. Carducci Associates partnered with ASD | Sky to create a cohesive design for the amenity roof terrace with the high-rise offices below. Employees can enjoy a drink at the terrace bar, stage a team cornhole competition, or just lounge by one of the firepits. Flexible seating allows the space to be rearranged from smaller private group seating into all-hands assembly-style seating as needed for meetings and presentations. Surrounded by lush ornamental planting to frame views and screen roof-top equipment, the roof terrace provides a welcome outdoor retreat and entertainment space.
