Mountain View Community Center
Mountain View Community Center is a new facility located in Rengstorff Park aimed at providing the community with modern facilities that will grow with the
community for decades to come. The new community center provides a visible civic presence along Rengstorff, new up-to-date office space, flexible activity
rooms, auditorium, and commercial kitchen.
A challenging aspect of the site design is the preservation of many large existing trees and existing circulation in this
area of the park. The new center fits into the existing park setting while accommodating parking, drop-off areas, garden rooms, innovative stormwater management
techniques and a future day care center and public art installation.
