Hester Elementary School
Carducci & Associates, Inc. was hired by San Jose Unified School District for on-call services during
campus improvements of ten San Jose schools, including Hester Elementary School. Carducci & Associates,
Inc. successfully designed the planting, irrigation, grading, drainage, parking lot, lighting, and fencing
for Hester Elementary School. The Spirit Gate pictured here was developed by the architect and Carducci &
Associates, Inc. Carducci & Associates, Inc. worked with the artist and redevelopment agency to site the
gate in a streetside redwood grove adjacent to a plaza for public presence, special events, and outdoor classes.
