Novato Skate Park

New 14,400 square foot skate park facility adjacent to Pacheco Creek, including an entrance, parking, drop-off area,
picnic area, landscaping, bio-swales and bio-basins. Carducci & Associates designed the site plan, planting, irrigation,
and grading, drainage, lighting, utilities and site furnishings and collaborated with the skate park designer, Wormhoudt Landscape Architecture, Inc.
on the design of the skate park. The Novato Skate Park is the first of a multi-phase Sport Court Island within the 81-acre Hamilton Community Park.
Budgeting and expansion planning were high priority items during this development phase, and led to a design that acts as an expanding "puzzle" that
allows the city to build the larger development as funds become available without sacrificing landscape quality in the short term.
