EmeryStation Residences
Carducci & Associates, Inc. designed the plaza and gardens at the mixed-use EmeryStation Residences as a dramatic entry to modern living space, and to provide a source of natural color and movement in views from the residences. The plaza sits atop the development's parking garage, making the most of a tight site and providing residents with a living garden in the midst of industrial Emeryville. A low bridge-like path across the fountain to the residences creates a sense of separation from the neighboring office space, and lush tropical planting enhances the effect of an oasis arrival within a private and protected place.
