Eastside Reservoir Recreation Area
The Eastside Reservoir project involved recreation planning, conceptual design, design guidelines,
infrastructure planning and cost estimating of a 2,000-acre recreation area to augment the plan for a 4,500-acre reservoir.
The recreation components include a golf course, lakes, camping facilities, day-use areas, cafes, shops, restaurants, lodges, visitor and support facilities, marinas,
recreational vehicle resorts, a water park, a lighted sports complex, habitat enhancement, landscape restoration and trail development.
A significant portion of the east Recreation Area serves as a drainage way and retention area.
